SISC MUN 2024

BUITIZON, Lester Joseph D. is a diversely experienced youth leader tempered through various professional, academic, and community-based institutions and organizations. He is a global-minded citizen passionate about the fulfillment of the UN SDGs through community service above a student’s call of duty, particularly in the field of international relations and education. He is a proud alumnus of Southville's International Baccalaureate program and studied AB Diplomacy & International Relations with a Specialization in East & Southeast Asian Studies with Minor in Education at Ateneo De Manila University. Lester has meaningful ties with SISC, as he served as the Secretary-General of SISC MUN from 2017 to 2020, Vice president of SISC Red Cross Youth, and the President of SISC IB Student Council. He has diverse extracurricular and organizational experiences including his service as Rotract Club Charter Vice President of Rotary International and Director of External Relations of the League of Independent Organizations (LIONS), AMUN Head of Delegate Servies in Ateneo Association of European Studies Students, Choirmaster and Liturgical Minister of Resurrection of Our Lord Parish, Patriotic Formator of Knights of Columbus Order of the 4th Degree, and the Council 7174 Secretary of Knights of Columbus. He shares professional experiences as an Intern Teacher at Ateneo De Manila Senior High School, an Intern at Foreign Service Institute Philippines, and an English Second Language Tutor at DMM LCC Engoo. He has a credit on the Basic Course on Diplomatic and Government Protocol and Events Management from the Foreighn Institute Huddle Series. He is currently the Deputy Officer for Repertoire in the Ateneo Campus Ministry Group and OIC for Member Relations in the Ateneo Catechetical Instruction League.
